We are Ray and Lee Parker of Southern River Western Australia who are not only passionate owners and breeders of the show winning “Tintookie” Pointer and Irish Red and White Setter kennels, we are also proud to own and run Early Bird Boarding Kennels, a top quality dog boarding in Perth.

Our love of Gundogs stems back a long way and continues to this day. We have owned and shown Gundogs since 1964 and have been members of the Victorian Canine Association for over 45 years and the Canine Association of Western Australia for over fifteen years. Lee is a respected canine judge and has judged throughout Australia and New Zealand as well as on occasion in the United Kingdom.

We have been operating Early Bird Boarding Kennels since 1996 and have many happy dog owners returning to board their beloved dogs year after year. Perhaps the extra special ingredient we provide at ‘Early Birds’ is LOVE and our slogan ‘ Do you love your dog? So will we!’ is very true. We genuinely love dogs and have staff on hand all day to care for your pet. They are guaranteed to have that special bit of love and attention that makes them just that little bit less homesick. Of course, no one can replace you, their owner, in their affections, but we like to think we come a close second. Some of our regulars tell us that their dogs become very excited as they get close to our place and really look forward to their time with us.
