Dingley Ishinryu Karate 3.37

Sensei Richards’s interest in karate began in 1967; he started Tae Kwon Do, In 1975. Richard has experienced serious health problems, which have not stopped his desire, determination to succeed in Karate, if anything this has motivated him to achieve where many would have given up, Richard is an inspiration to his own students at Dingley but to all who know him. In 1991 he began Wado Ryu Karate and a few years later he joined Ishinryu. He has won many awards along the way including, the inaugural Des Murphy memorial trophy, in 2005. He has a keen interest in Kobudo/weapons and the practical side of Karate attending many Self Defence Seminars, to broaden his knowledge, to impart to all Ishinryu students. Richard is sort out by many Ishinryu students, for individual private lessons, so they can improve technically, for their gradings.
