The DC Jiu Jitsu team boasts the largest mat area of any Jiu Jitsu / Judo or Grappling Academy in Geelong and the surf coast area with a huge 120 sqm of mate approved by the International Judo Federation (IJF) we use the same mat’s that were used in the 2008 Beijing Olympics and the 2012 London Olympics. Along with this we also have an additional 80 sqm MMA area with boxing bags, floor to ceiling ball and strength and conditioning equipment. Men’s and Women’s Change rooms and toilets are avalable , Members / students lounge area, two meter high padded wall, Our academy is clean, safe and in a great location just minutes away from the South Geelong train station and very close to the Geelong CBD.

Our academy is well known across Australia and Internationally for producing some of the best Jiu Jitsu competitors in the country, playing home to multi gold medal winning State, National, Pan Pacific and International Champions from kids through teens and adultsProf Daniel Cherubin (head instructor of DC Jiu Jitsu) is the only Australian to be graded to the rank of 1st degree black belt under the great master Ricardo De La Riva, making DC Jiu Jitsu unique among many other Australian teams.
