Crocodylus Park is a crocodile education and research centre with a difference. Opened in August 1994 by world-renowned crocodile biologist Professor Grahame Webb, Crocodylus Park gives the visitor a great chance to view Australian Saltwater Crocodiles from tiny hatchlings up to enormous adults.

The park boasts five species of crocodilians including American Alligators, Australian Freshwater Crocodiles, New Guinea Crocodiles and the rarest crocodilian in the world the Philippine Crocodile.

More than just crocodiles though, Crocodylus Park also has a zoo which boasts an impressive line up of Lions, Tigers, Monkeys, Emu, Kangaroo, Dingo, Iguanas, Tortoises and big snakes, just to name a few.

Crocodylus Park runs regular croc feeding demonstrations that commence at 10am, 12pm, 2pm and 4pm daily. Join an experienced guide and learn interesting facts about crocodiles and their ecology. At the end of each tour visitors get the opportunity to hold a small saltwater crocodile.

Whilst visiting Crocodylus Park it is a great idea to check out the air conditioned museum. This museum is full of artefacts and other crocodile related history relating back to the days when crocodiles were hunted to more modern times when crocodiles are a living resource.

Reptile handling also occurs at 11:30am each day and the two new dingo pups enjoy a walk around the park everyday at 1:30pm giving them the opportunity to interact with the public.

Crocodylus Park has added an eco-boat cruise to their impressive attraction. Sit back and relax while you cruise around a constructed lagoon, designed to simular river conditions and view large crocodiles in their natural habitat. Learn about the native vegetation, its traditional uses as well as seeing other native wildlife.
The cruise last 40-45 minutes, an experienced tour guide will give you an insight into the biology and ecology of these impressive animals.

Crocodylus Boat Cruises run everyday at 11am, 1pm and 3pm and are capped at 30 people per cruise. Cruises cost $10 for adults and $5 for kids (under 3yrs free) in addition to Park entry.

Crocodylus Park is also increasingly being used as a venue for events and functions because of its unique atmosphere, especially for first-time visitors to the NT's "Top End".
