Coogee Jetty to Jetty Swim XXII is being planned and organised by Cockburn Masters Swimming Club.

The Jetty to Jetty Swim is a special community event which provides a great opportunity for anyone to take part. It is recognised as the best family-oriented open water swim in WA.
The event is used to promote swimming to the public as well as swim club members across the state and swimmers of all ages and abilities are actively encouraged to take part.

The event is held on the first Sunday in March after the Labour Day long weekend and is a very popular part of the annual Open Water Swim calendar because it takes place in clear sheltered waters between Coogee Beach and Woodman Point.

Main distances are 1500m or 750m, both with a walk along the beach and then a swim back over the same distance.
These are preceded by a great new 250m Try It Swim.
The 750m race is started first, followed shortly afterwards by the 1500m race which will have additional wave starts depending on entry numbers, all finishing at the Woodman Point Jetty under an in-water finishing boom.

This combined walk and swim event is one of those rare family and community events with competitors ranging from 10 years through to 85 years old (+) and continues to increase in popularity from year to year.

With over 1,100 swimmers registered to take part in Coogee XXI in March 2017, the organisers are planning ahead for another huge event in March 2018.
The main distances will again be capped at 1,000 swimmers so swimmers are encouraged to register early so as not to miss out (as some did this year).
