Complementary Compounding Services is a compounding pharmacy that specialise in the production of supplements, natural hormones and medication so it is tailor made to suit your specific individual requirements. Our laboratory is equipped with a comprehensive range of specialised equipment which enables us to produce pharmaceutical quality customised medication – with the emphasis on quality. We also specialise in sterile compounding.

Our approach to treating illness is through nutritional medicine, otherwise known as orthomolecular medicine, as it treats the underlying physiological imbalance of most diseases rather than just treating the symptoms. Treatments offered therefore include bioidentical hormones for sex hormone imbalances in both women and men, in addition to adrenal, thyroid and other hormone imbalances. We also produce vitamin, mineral, antioxidant and amino acid combinations, to name but a few.

Dr Michael Serafin is the chief compounding chemist for Complementary Compounding Services. He holds a Ph.D in pharmacuetical chemistry from Sydney University and has extensive training and experience. He has been involved in compounding pharmacy since the mid 1990′s ranging from training pharmacy students in the art of compounding at Sydney University to working in one of the largest compounding pharmacies in Australia at the time before establishing Complementary Compounding Services in 2001. He is one of the most experienced and highly qualified compounding pharmacists in Australia.
