Clubhouse Territory 2

'Clubhouse Territory', a concept that came about when I realised how time and resource poor so many not-for-profits (NFPs) are, constantly seeking ways to gain funding and support and in turn relying heavily on the good will of their volunteers and supporters.

My aim, under the banner of ‘Clubhouse Territory’ is to create and develop a range of fundraising opportunities for NFPs across the wider Darwin community.

Basically the plan is to develop a number of pop-up events and fundraising activities that would be run for the benefit of NFPs – with little demand on their time other than to help promote the event/activity and in turn provide volunteers as and when needed.

For many NFPs fundraising is such a key part of their day-to-day business practices. With funding and support becoming increasingly more difficult to attain I feel the concept of ‘Clubhouse Territory’ could help them greatly in their endeavours.
