Classic Wooden Boat is dedicated to classic wooden power boats and classic wooden yachts in Australia. Whilst there are many Wooden Boat websites, representing clubs, associations and the boat building industry, our intention is to create and maintain a central information repository that welcomes contributions on all aspects of significant Wooden Boats, wooden boatbuilders and wooden boat building in Australia. Please note that many of the boatbuilders listed are no longer living or their business has ceased operation, and no longer exists. Our primary objective is to ensure that historical classical wooden boat data and wooden boat information is not lost to future generations of 'Australian Wooden Boat Lovers'.

Classic Wooden Boat, commenced business in 2003. Our original concept was to provide a historical data base of Australian Wooden Boats and Australian Boat Builders. Our new website and business, relaunched in 2016, offers the original concept, expanded with more information and graphic data. Our online store will provide stylish Wooden Boat apparel, boat photography, art publishing and much more. Our Brokerage for boat sales also provides on road and water delivery options, Insurance reports and surveys and design desk.
