Chief Academy 3.98

Starting from a vision to inspire and give back through dance and the art of its movement Chief Academy was born. Originating from the dance crew 'Chief Rockaz' and its leader Mundsan Yu Hoi the urge to take the passion of dance to a full on teaching perspective grew greatly.

With the style being greatly influenced by Hip Hop and it's Culture, The style mainly taught itself is more of an open expression than sticking to foundational moves as associated with styles as popping, locking and breaking. What some may call New School Hip Hop or Lyrical Street the choreography taught infuses all those of what is mostly required in most foundational styles of dance. Main factors being Musicality, Feel, Timing and the Raw Passion for the art. Improving on those skills through extensions of the body, knowing when to relax and contract muscle movement, levels and keeping count is also taught through each class.

All in all, We would not be doing this if it were not fun as a passion or a form of a socialising mechanism. So having fun is one of the most important aspects for 'Chiefs' but having fun while improving in any aspect of anything is even Better..
