The Business HQ (formally the BEC) is a community based not-for-profit organisation established to foster the growth of business within the central west of NSW. The Business HQ's Business Advisory Service is provided with funding through the NSW Government - Business Connect and the Australian Governments - Australian Small Business Advisory Service.

Under these two programs the Business HQ provides the first four hours facilitation meetings 100% subsidised (no charge to you) with all remaining sessions 50% subsidised attracting a $25 per hour fee.

These programs offers a subsidised service to small businesses, either existing or those who have a business idea and would like to start a business. The Business Advisor will assist you assess your business idea, show you how to undertake your market research, feasibility study, business planning and financial viability, We assist in developing simple business and marketing plans and can research government regulations & Industry specific programs and grants.

We also have business diagnostic tools, benchmarking and demographic data which is available as part of our service.

We are also a Registered Training Organisation providing the following services.

We are also providers for the New Enterprise Incentive Scheme (NEIS), which aims to help eligible unemployed start their own businesses.

Business HQ has offices in Orange and Bathurst and provides an outreach service to Blayney, Bland, Cabonne, Cowra, Lithgow, Mid Western (Mudgee region), Oberon and Weddin Local Government areas.
