Canberra Royal Next Gen 2.64

Canberra Royal Next Gen (Canberra Royal Next Generation) is a youth committee that has a focus on promoting youth as part of the Royal National Capital Agricultural Society and the ActewAGL Royal Canberra Show. The youth come from the ACT and the surrounding regions.

We are between the ages of 13 and 25 and are all passionate about showing, stewarding and becoming part of the RNCAS. As part of our attempt to promote our group this year we are introducing a Facebook group, holding an Instagram photo comp and starting a Snapchat profile to share all the things that we see around the grounds during the 2015 ActewAGL Royal Canberra Show.

This year as part of the Show our focus is on running a 'Youth Farmers Challenge' which is like a relay and involves things like changing a car tire, carrying bales of hay, tossing a gumboot etc. This is a challenge in which teams of 4 (2 boys, 2 girls) compete against each other to see who can do it the fastest and the most accurately.
