Cairns Bonsai Society Inc. 3.07

Bonsai is a horticultural art form that originated in the far east more than two millennia ago that is now popular throughout the world. Cairns Bonsai Society Inc. is a social group of people of all ages and backgrounds who are interested in Bonsai and who meet on a monthly basis to exhibit, discuss and work on bonsai. The society hold regular themed meetings and are open to public visitors. The society convenes an annual exhibition, usually on the first weekend in November when a selection of trees are put on display and when pots, plants, tools and other consumables are available for purchase.
