Brookview Performance Horses 4.16

Brookview Performance Horses is run by Tracy Maitland, an Equine Massage Therapist, royal show rider and re-educator. She is a quiet woman, preferring to stay at home on the farm and educate her youngsters for her own enjoyment and eventually for the benefit of others.

Tracy campaigned TM Memphis from 2008 until 2013, a well-known Show Hunter hack with a history of rearing. After many ups and downs, broken bones, tears of heartache and of joy their partnership saw them represent South Australia at two EA National titles, Grand Nationals and many blue ribbons at Adelaide Royal. Because of him and the journey we unknowingly embarked on, changing his mindset from one of fear to one of trust, Brookview Performance Horses aims to source local youngstock off the track and re-educate some lovely thoroughbreds to find fantastic homes for Australia wide, and even at an international wide base.

Here at Brookview we believe that a horse is never born 'nasty'; there can be a series of events that make the horse what they become. We have had our fair share of problem horses and the true reward is overcoming the problems WITH the horse, to find what is really underneath the tough and sometimes painful exterior. Tracy's background in massage is a great tool for this as is our firm belief in TuffRock products.
