Balance and Control Pilates is a Partner Organisation of Tensegrity Training (RTO # 60182) and was established to meet the growing needs of fitness professionals and movement-related allied health practitioners to deliver sound Pilates exercise programs.

By participating in these programs you will become a Pilates professional, working with individuals or groups โ€“ an Allied Health Professional who is equipped with the required skills, knowledge and experience to successfully work as a Pilates movement educator. Both the Certificate IV and the Diploma courses will provide you with client assessment skills, exercise prescription and teaching techniques, as well as a solid understanding of anatomy, physiology and associated pathologies.

Both courses equip you with the knowledge and skills to make informed assessments and design outstanding improvement strategies for low to moderate risk clients.

The Certificate IV qualification is suited to students wanting to pursue a part-time or full time career as a Pilates Matwork Instructor, either within an existing Pilates Studio to work as part of an Allied Health team. The Certificate IV is a pre-requisite for the Diploma, which extends your experience and capability to work effectively with equipment and clients within a rehabilitation or fitness setting.

Diploma graduates will have sophisticated skills in teaching and assessment, be able to problem solve, utilise consistent thinking and be able to apply solutions to a defined range of unpredictable situations. The Diploma course is a comprehensive course equipping the graduate with a solid understanding of Matwork, small apparatus and equipment Pilates.

As a graduate of Tensegrity Training Pilates courses, you will enter the Pilates industry with exceptional skills to work in the fitness, health or community sectors. You will become a practitioner with a contemporary approach to the holistic delivery of Pilates drawn from a sound knowledge of the science of human movement, teaching methodology & didactics.
