Avoca Wooden Designs 2.21

The timbers used are all Australian recycled and regrowth timbers. Most of the timbers are sourced locally. I have made everything from large dining tables, coffee tables, bowls, fruit platters, cutting boards, cheese boards, pizza boards. I can make anything to order. There is also a range of wooden toys (tractors, trains, Jeeps, dump trucks, doll cradles). My stock is always changing - as new products occur to me. I am currently selling from various markets (Bendigo, Talbot, Avoca, St. Arnaud). I sell through eBay and my site is Avoca Bush Timbers. All toys are made from raw air-dried pine and can easily be stained or painted. People like to be involved with their children in this process. All my timber boards are coated with paraffin oil, which will not harbour bacteria. All bedside/coffee/dining tables are coated with a combination of beeswax, Carnauba was and orange oil which gives a very low lustre finish. I also use some natural wood oils. I use a lot more red iron bark because of the hardness of the timber and the beautiful natural colours and grains.
