Avoca Races 4.84

The Avoca Shire Turf Club (ASTC) opens its gates two days of the year to patrons ready to enjoy the rays of sun, the blue skies, the green grass, the constant laughter and cheering, the outfits, the champagne, the gourmet food and wine and the thrill of watching those amazing thoroughbreds race down the straight. The Avoca Cup are a highlight of the country spring racing and the Fashions on the Field in Avoca is one to enter, with great prizes and recognition on offer.

The Club honours the tradition of ANZAC Day and races with spirit and respect each year. ANZAC Day in Avoca is a great family day with lots of activities on offer for the kids and also to commemorate with lots of traditional activities including 2UP.

Among other events, the Club host may large events on course and in the Pyrenees Function Centre.
