Aerialize: Sydney Aerial Theatre is the leading aerial and circus arts training centre and performance company in Sydney, founded in 1999 by Shelalagh McGovern and Aimee Thomas to promote circus and aerial skills in the community. Aerialize offers our students and the wider community access to expert instruction in aerial and circus arts. Our aim is to provide our students with performance opportunities and industry training, as well as creating innovative and dynamic aerial theatre using professional performers for audiences across Australia and Asia.

Aerialize runs courses that are fun and challenging in a safe and comfortable environment for people of all ages and abilities. These courses include static trapeze, silks/tissue, Lyra, acro-balance, acrobatics, hula hoops, juggling, Chinese Pole, contortion and more. Students attend our courses for leisure, recreational, educational and vocational purposes. We have an ever expanding network of experienced professional performers and instructors to ensure a dynamic and progressive environment for teachers and students alike.
