School Readiness, Tutoring and Speech Pathology

Our School Readiness classes are divided up into 3 levels based on age and when your child is starting school. Our program is taught in a fun, creative and positive way so as to help children gain confidence and a love of learning. We encourage all children to learn at their own pace in order to reach their full potential. Each class has a maximum of 8 children at any given time enabling your child to also develop social skills and meet new friends. Each session is 60 minutes and covers a play based focus on early literacy and numeracy and a craft activity to promote fine motor skills. Our levels and some of the concepts children are taught within each level are as follows:

The Caterpillars (3-4 year olds):-
*Letter and sound recognition A-Z
*Numbers 1-10
*Shapes
*Fine motor skills

The Canaries (generally the year before school):-
*Letter and sound recognition A-Z
*Numbers 1-20
*Simple addition and subtraction
*Handwriting skills
*Pencil grip
*Begin to sound out CVC (consonant-vowel-consonant) words e.g.. cat, dog, tap etc.

The Goldfish
*Single sounds
*Blends
*Sight words
*Addition
*Subtraction
*Problem Solving


Primary Tutoring
We offer tutoring to Primary school children from Kindergarten to Year 6. We have 30, 45 and 60 minute one on one sessions available. We conduct an initial assessment and then create a personalised program to suit your child's individual needs

Speech Pathology
Our highly qualified Speech Pathologist can provide assessment and therapy for:
- Speech sound disorders
- Language difficulties
- Stuttering
- School aged literacy
- Picky eaters and Problem feeders
