1st Derwent Sea Scout Group 3.07

1st Derwent Sea Scout Group is the premiere Scout Group in Tasmania. Founded in 1931 following the visit to Hobart by Lord Baden Powell, 1st Derwent has a long history of providing quality Scouting to the youth of Hobart and it's surrounds.

1st Derwent offers programs for boys and girls:
6-8 year olds as Joey Scouts
8-11 year olds as Cub Scouts
11-14 year olds as Scouts
14-18 year olds as Venturers
18-26 year olds as Rovers (through the district Rover Crew)
26+ year olds as Leaders (18 years old+)

1st Derwent offers a wide variety of activities from the more traditional outdoor Scouting activities, but also includes the added bonus of Water Activities (and there is no prerequisite to be able to swim).
