Returning to Europe, in 2001, Sonja Rauschütz, integrated her Central European background with her international experience by establishing a European meeting point for negotiators.

The idea of the Vienna School of Negotiation originated in the late nineties at Harvard Law School, where Sonja Rauschütz served, for over 3 years, as faculty at the Program ON Negotiation (PON) and the right hand to Prof. Roger Fisher (bestselling author of “Getting to Yes” and mastermind of win-win).

Today, the Vienna School of Negotiation is a European movement with 5 partners and integrates the best negotiation toolkit including e.g. Harvard's Principled Negotiations, the Process Communication Model and Leading Out of Drama with Compassionate Accountability and Tri-Energetics. We help raise the awareness to the 3 aspects of negotiations: people, substance and process
