Das Mag. KOTTAS Kräuterhaus öffnete seine Pforten in der Zeit der K.u.K.-Monarchie, als die Wiener Bevölkerung bereits die „Medicinische Kräuter Handlung“ aufsuchte, um Heilpflanzen und Rezepturen zur Vorbeugung und Linderung von Beschwerden aller Art zu erwerben.

Bis heute ist das pittoreske Ambiente der Wiener Freyung ebenso gut erhalten wie die Original-Einrichtung im Mag. KOTTAS Kräuterhaus. Kommen Sie vorbei auf eine kleine Zeitreise! Kottas has been an Austrian medicinal herbs and tea specialist since 1795.
The Mag. KOTTAS Herbal House opened its doors in the time of the K.u.K. monarchy. Then the Viennese population was visiting the "Medicinische Kräuter Handlung" (medicinal herbal shop) to acquire medicinal plants and recipes for the prevention and alleviation of all kinds of health issues.

To this day the picturesque ambience of the Viennese Freyung has been preserved. Enjoy a trip back in time! When you enter our herb house you will see that time is magically standing still, while our employees advise you with their competence all the more eagerly. The KOTTAS Herbal House offers more than 600 teas, medicinal plants and herbs and a lot more.
