King of Season findet einmal im Quartal statt und ist eine Plattform für Freestyle-Battles und Live-Shows von internationalen und nationalen Künstlern.
Bei den Freestyle-Battles duellieren sich zwei Kontrahenten auf einem vorgegebenem Instrumental und versuchen sich abwechselnd kreativ, mit technisch ausgefeiltem Sprechgesang anzugreifen.
Die Jury achtet dabei auf den sogenannten „Flow“ (rythmischer Redefluss), die „Rhymes“
(Reime), die „Punchlines“ (Pointe), die „Credibility“ (Glaubwürdigkeit), „Style“ (Stil) und „Technique“ (Technik).

Geschichte:
King of Season existiert seit Juni 2008 und wurde durch Gee und Effectric in den "Hängenden Gärten des Auffenberg-Palace" konzipiert. Durch Absprache mit lokalen, in der Szene damals bekannten Crews wie „DNK-Movement“, „Airomainia“ und einigen Leuten aus Strasswalchen, aus denen sich später „High 5“ und die „Strawa Connection“ entwickelte, konnte King of Season schließlich umgesetzt werden.
Das Konzept sah vor, dass man die Battles nach den jeweiligen Runden, mit Auftritten von
heimischen und internationalen Künstlern mischt und so holte man beiden ersten beiden Freestylebattles keine geringeren als J.A.W. aus Freiburg und Pit Valid aus Überlingen am Bodensee, in die Mozartstadt, genauer gesagt in das Herz des Kapuzinerberges – die Rockhouse-Bar.
Zwei deutsche Battlegrößen, die die R-B-A (Royal Battle Association) längere Zeit dominierten und über diese Plattform bekannt geworden sind.
Weitere Headliner vergangener K.o.S waren Kamp, Demograffics, HSC, Monobrother, BBou & Liquid, T-Ser & Tactik, SeZar, Mosch, Demolux , Hanuschplatzflow, uvm..
Insgesamt wurden bis jetzt in sieben K.o.S 237 Battles bestritten, aus den jeweils Demolux, T-Ser (x2), Sain, Scheibsta, Muckemcy und Jack Dragon als gesamt Sieger hervorgingen

King of Season take place every three months and is a plattform for freestyle battles and live shows of national and international artists. Durring the battles, the DJ plays an instrumental and two opponents try to battle each other with creative, technical raps.
The Jury pays attention to the flow, rhymes, punchlines, credibility, style and technique.


History
King of Season exists since 2008 and was concepted by Gee & Effectric in the "Hanging Gardens of the Aufenberg Palace". The network with some well known local based crews, like „DNK-Movement“, „Airomainia“ and a few dudes from Strasswalchen, who became „High 5“ and the „Strawa Connection“ later, was very important for realizing the concept of K.o.S.
The battles and live shows of national and international acts took place in the heart of Capucchin Rock – The Rockhouse-Bar. The first two headliners at K.o.S were J.A.W. from Freiburg and Pit Valid from Üeberlingen at lake Constance. Both, well known battle mcs
who became popular through a plattform called R-B-A (Royal Battle Association). Other headliners which performed at past events were Kamp, HSC, Demolux, SeZar, Sage & PerPlex and Mosch.
After seven K.o.S and 237 battles later, we've got clear winners like Demolux, T-Ser (x2), Sain, Scheibsta, Muckemcy and Jack Dragon.
