Hofstätter Projekte 3.46

Hofstätter Projekte befassen sich inhaltlich mit Fragen zur Kunst als ein zeitübergreifendes Kontinuum – das Konzept stellt die im westlichen Raum stattgefundene Spezialisierung und zeitliche Trennung der Kunst in Frage. Zeit-, raum- und medienübergreifende Projekte weisen auf die Unteilbarkeit der Kunst im Wechselspiel von Vergangenem und Gegenwärtigem hin.

Mit seiner Textarbeit All Art has been Contemporary bringt Maurizio Nannucci die inhaltliche Ausrichtung der Hofstätter Projekte auf den Punkt.


The Vienna based project space Hofstätter Projekte investigates art as a time transcending continuum. The project’s concept questions the specialisation and fragmentation of art that occurred in the western canon as a result of the development of 19th century museum politics. Projects crossing time, space and media explore (or point to) the indivisibility of art in the interplay of past and present.
