Gosau Apartment 2.66

Our delightfully sunny studio apartment sleeps 2 (+1 child), and with its sunny south-west facing balcony, high up on the 3rd floor, it boasts extensive views down the spectacular Gosau valley to the nearby Dachstein mountain, and to the ski slopes.
It has a separate kitchen and bathroom, whilst the main living area has a dining table, a large 'L-shaped' sofa and twin beds to the rear. It is superbly located within the prestigious Vitalhotel leisure complex in Gosau, which is the Salzkammergut's premier ski resort for 'Dachstein-West'. And it comes with all the essential sport, health and leisure facilities that guests love to relax after active/lazy days in the mountains!
Guests can take meals in the hotel’s fine restaurant at the same special rates offered to the apartment owners, and enjoy 3-course meals almost as if it were Half Board. And our own kitchen is also there to make snacks or picnics, if you choose to stay in and cook for yourselves - but with a wide choice of local village and lakeside restaurants nearby it is very temping to eat out all the time!
Set in the unspoilt heart of the beautiful Salzkammergut lakes region, Gosau is central for a huge range of exhilarating outdoor activities such as skiing, hiking, mountain-biking, climbing, white water rafting, tubing, paragliding. On top of that there is swimming, boat trips, fishing, golf, a cog railway ride to the mountain top, several spa towns, a salt mine and the Ice Cave, and ‘5 Fingers’ to visit at Hallstatt down the road.
With spa treatments available on site, our apartment is also a perfect romantic break destination for couples of all ages, in summer or winter. The hotel has a great mix of facilities, and our guests can take advantage by having a massage and a steam session, with free use of the indoor pool and sauna. There is also a gym, games room, indoor tennis courts, gardens, and bike hire as well as a good restaurant, bars, sun terraces, and a ski and boot locker for skiers.
The building is surrounded by meadows, and a small river passes it, with the village centre only 500m away. And the Gosaukamm backdrop is a stunning sight when skiing!
Minimum let is 3 nights. Rates: €300-340 pw. Short breaks from €50/night (minimum 3 nights) + local charges for cleaning and tourist taxes. Bed-linen and towels are supplied

“Great apartment, everything you need and the location is fantastic. The view out of the balcony on the first morning, after arriving in the dark, was beautiful. We came primarily to ski and do some running. It was perfectly suited to both these activities. Ski lifts were a few minutes drive and there are miles of hill trails to explore. Kitchen and bathroom both clean and well equipped. Very easy check-in and handy being attached to the hotel. We arrived Christmas eve and it was warm and cozy! Charles was very informative and ready to help. Very swift and efficient. Would recommend this to everyone, we hope to come back for a summer holiday soon.” Emma G
