What gives this tiny island its cultural identity are the many people from different ethnicities that set foot in the country. With the Indians, Arab spice traders, Dutch, Portuguese, English, and the Malays, the cultural scenery transformed into a potpourri of styles. Over 2,500 years of recorded history and heritage anchor Sri Lanka, and the country has been called several different names like 'Thambapani' referring to the red sands of the beaches, to Taprobane, Serendib and Ceylon by the British.

Thushani’s is an amalgamation of two fiercely passionate women, Thushara and Ruwani and the goodness of home cooked, affordable Sri Lankan food that they promise to bring to your table.
