Khatt is a mountainous village south-east of the city of Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates.Following the 1819 English burning of the town of Ras Al Khaimah, Khatt was the capital of the Qasimi state, faming itself in the General Maritime Treaty of 1820, in which the Qasimi ruler styled himself the "Sheikh of Hatt".It is known for its long history of tribal wars between the rulers of Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah. It is also famous for its springs of sulphur water. Located adjacent to the Hajar Mountains, it looks like a castle offering therapeutic hot springs, precious stone treatments, hot stone treatment, and Ayurvedic medicine. This is the right place when travelers can seek some relaxation. Located just 20minutes drive from RAK City, through the lush green agricultural land is the oasis town of Khatt, which lies at the foot of the mountains.
