Dubai Culture is the driving force of the 21st century cultural and arts renaissance in Dubai and the region. Established on March 8, 2008, by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President & Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, Dubai Culture reflects the ambition of the city to benchmark itself as the cultural thought-leader of the Arab world. We bring together the artistic community, the patrons, the facilitators and the public at large – in active dialogue.
Dubai Culture, thus, leads a new cultural renaissance and resonance for the city. Our objective is to establish Dubai as a conducive environment for distinctive content creation and a modern centre for cultural and artistic dialogue that resonates across the globe. We aim to achieve this by creating a robust regulatory cultural framework and a strong infrastructure that nurtures and sustains talent. This will be done through an integrated approach that includes grants, training, developing cultural expertise and strategic commissioning of works.
Through this multifaceted approach, we aim to create the entire cultural value chain – from incubation and support for new ideas, to a nurturing environment for emerging talent, a supportive platform for reputed professionals and a gateway for creative exchanges.

وتمثل دبي للثقافة القوة المحركة للنهضة الثقافية والفنية في دبي والمنطقة في القرن الحادي والعشرين.
وفي مارس من عام 2008، تفضل صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم نائب رئيس الدولة ورئيس مجلس الوزراء وحاكم دبي بتأسيس هيئة دبي للثقافة والفنون (دبي للثقافة) بما يعكس طموح المدينة بأن تصبح مركز الدعم الفكري الثقافي للعالم العربي.
ونحن نعمل على حشد المجتمع الفني والرعاة والقادرين على تقديم التسهيلات والجمهور من العامة في حوار فعال.
وهكذا تتولى دبي للثقافة زمام المبادرة في تحقيق نهضة ثقافية جديدة تبعث الحياة في المدينة، كما نهدف إلى جعل دبي بيئة تساعد على الإبداع المتميز ومركزًا عصريًّا لحوار ثقافي وفني يُدِوِّي صداه في جميع أنحاء العالم.
إننا نرنو إلى تحقيق هذا من خلال خلق إطار تنظيمي متين للثقافة وبنية تحتية قوية ترعى المواهب وتنميها، وهو ما سيتحقق باتباع نهج متكامل يضم تقديم المنح والتدريب وتنمية الخبرة الثقافية والتفويض الاستراتيجي للأعمال.
وبالسير على هذا النهج متعدد الأوجه نطمح إلى خلق سلسلة كاملة للقيمة الثقافية؛ تبدأ من احتضان الأفكار الجديدة ودعهما، وحتى توفير بيئة راعية للمواهب ونظام داعم للمشاهير من المتخصصين وبوابة للتبادل الإبداعي
