The Aga Khan Early Learning Centre, Dubai (AKELC) is centrally located in the Oud Metha area of Dubai and provides high quality early childhood education for children aged 12 months to 4+ years. The purpose built, spacious teaching and learning facilities are well maintained and provide an impressive environment for young children to play and learn.
We provide a broad, holistic early childhood education that follows the highest international standards of excellence. The non-secular, bilingual English/Arabic curriculum is taught by fully qualified teachers in a child-centred environment and is designed to build strong foundations for children’s future development. The curriculum is based on international High Scope practices aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stages framework (EYFS-UK)

The qualified multilingual staff offer children a wide range of routines and curriculum activities and active learning experiences to stimulate their optimal growth and development, in an intentional and play-based environment.
In addition to full and half day sessions we offer a range of dynamic afternoon and holiday programmes which include Art, Drama, Technology and Physical Development in both English and Arabic mediums.
